I’m a single mom and have a hard time trying to get my son out of the door. A trip to the community pool takes about five hours and three of those five hours is just getting him ready, prying him from his toys and dragging him there. I purchased this pool to have the pool come to us. It is huge and about the same size as the community kiddie pool. All I have to do is put his trunks on and we are ready for the pool!.My son loves this pool! It is deep enough for him to get the feel of swimming but not too deep for him to feel afraid. This pool is durable and well made.

My kids love it. I love it. We have a lot of fun playing in it. It has not ripped or torn. It seems well made. If you don’t have some kind of air compressor, good luck. If you have to blow it up yourself, make out your will first. I bought a nice compressor at Home Depot, but with some foresight, you can find something here, and I can have it ready to go in less than 10 minutes. I only wish I could attach a hose to the drain hole to divert the water where I want. Keep that in mind and make sure you place the pool in a strategic area that will not drain into your house or basement.

I am a bigger girl, and wanted a pool big enough that me and my 1 year old son could have fun and feel comfortable. I found it! This is a great pool, lots of room, even enough room for more kids or another adult! Easy set up, easy tear down!

Just bought this for my three year old since going to the pool is a hassle. It is much biger than I thought. It took justa few minutes to fill it up with air using the quick pump advertised below. I am able to fit in there with my daughter, my two sons and still have room for one more adult. An adult and about six toddlers can easily fit in there. The water level is not too high so the little ones were not scared. My three yr old had a blast and so did her baby brothers. I bought this thinking it was just a little pool for my three year old, but this is a good sized pool which holds enogh water and can actually be harmful if not used with caution. It took about 15 more minutes to completely fill this up with water. In a nutshell: This is a really great buy for the money an fun for all ages. It does NOT have a drain plug so we just deflate it and drain the water out.

We got the electric pump and it has made filling it up a snap. It’s kind of hard to dump out but if we keep it covered, we don’t need to do that as often. It’s held up very well so far and the kids LOVE it. Great purchase.

The biggest concern from most reviewers is the lack of a drain plug. You can easily syphon the water out instead by using about four feet of garden hose. Even if the pool had a drain plug it would be difficult to drain the pool with just the drain plug. At the bottom of this review I am including some basic directions for syphoning.
We purchased one of these at the beginning of summer, and the pool has made it through the summer while withstanding a lot of abuse from our children and their friends. We have a swing set, and we located this under the slide. It is a lot of fun for the kids to slide into the pool. When not sliding into the pool, four or five children can play in it with room to spare. The instructions say not to fill the pool all the way up to the top, but we routinely fill it near the top and this has not caused a problem.
The easiest way to fill the pool up with air is to use the exhaust of a wet/dry vacuum. The ports for filling this with air are sized to fit a hose from a vacuum. Do not buy this unless you have something like a wet/dry vacuum to help you fill it with air.
To syphon water from the pool, submerge a four foot section of garden hose so that it is filled with water. Put your thumb tightly over the end that you will discharge from. Initially, keep the end in the pool as high in the water as possible and the side with your thumb as low as possible. Release your thumb and water should start draining out. Once water starts flowing, position one end to sit at the bottom of the pool and the other end on the ground next to the pool. It is best to syphon from the low spot. To empty all the water takes about an hour.

This is the prefect pool to be able to get wet and have fun in the sun. I enjoyed it as much as the 2, 5, 6 & 9 yr old.

I bought this to film water splashing for a project. Seems durable and after using a compressor to blow it up, it held air very good. Note, it was faster to use an air compressor to inflate it than a milder electric air pump though they recommended against it because you can damage the seams from the air speed of a compressor – I just kept the chamber pressure very low so the air wasn’t blasting into the valve. My only complaint would be that it was very difficult to push in the drain plug – had to use a hammer, carefully I might add. Otherwise, great cheap fun for a family, though for my purposes it may never be used for that.

So far, we’ve enjoyed this pool immensely! I priced these at Target as well & found it was less expensive on Amazon. Haven’t had it long, but seems pretty durable & was easy to set up. It’s even big enough for mom & dad to take a dip with the kids when we want to. The only bad thing is, as other reviews said, it doesn’t have a plug in the floor, so draining it can be a pain. It looked like to get one with a plug, you had to spend a bit more. However, my kids love to take the old water out of the pool to water the gardens, grass, each other, etc, so it’s not really an issue for us.

What is the obsession with a drain plug? Step on the side to let enough water out so you can then flip the thing over. Letting some air out first will help. Presto — drained.
