This pool is so easy to set up. It took only about one hour. The filling does take a while however. we were able to fill it over the span of two days using one hose. It took about 8-9 hours to fill. All of the differnet aspects set up easily. The only thing that could be better is the latter. They say it holds up to 300 pounds and i weigh 120 and it seems a little shakey, even to me. the slighest differnece in ground by the ladder couses this. And the ladder iteslf is not very wide. “Bigger” people may have difficulty getting in so i would recommend buying a ladder sperately. They also say that the ground should be COMPLETELY level but a little difference is OK.

The pump is way too small for this size pool and it broke before summer was over. Just spent $100 on an improved pump, so we’ll see. Setting up is easy. We have a floating thing that holds the chlorine tabs and haven’t had to do much else to keep cear water – except vacuum of course. The kids LOVE it and spend many summer hours in it. plenty of room for several of their friends too.

Assembly only took about an hour with a bunch of kids running around and rushing me. I didnt even have to watch the dvd that came with it to figure it out. I’m female & 4′ 11″. Got it filled with 2 garden hoses in about 8 hours. I did put carpet under it just in case there were small pebbles I might have missed. I put it on concrete instead of grass and the ground is slightly unlevel, but pool is holding up fine. After a few days of pool use and hardly any chemicals since I was still waiting for them to be delivered, the water got a little cloudy. As soon as I received my checmicals kit, I shocked it with 2/3 cup of chlorine and added PH minus to bring it to the right level. After just 5 hours, the pool now looks nice & clean again except for the leaves that fell to the bottom which I will vacuum with my automatic pool cleaner. The vacuum given with the pool is really cheap and hard to use for me since I am petite, so I bought an automatic cleaner which is $[...] at “[...]“, but it’s going to save me a lot of time and aggravation. The ladder is narrow and is also a bit shaky, but it does hold up just fine also. This is the 1st time I’ve ever left a review, but I thought it was neccessary since there are a lot of people who complain that it is hard to setup and keep up. I am the laziest person in the world and I’ve managed to keep it up. That’s just how easy it is. Hope this review helps.

We had this pool for 5 years. My family and i love it. We need to buy another one because over time the chlorine is hard on the bottom of the pool. Plus around the top we had some rust damage. Being we had it up about 3 months in the Spring and Summer. It was quite easy for us to put it together, we made it a family thing. I thought it was easy for me to keep the water clear and not cloudy. The more you and your family use it the more chlorine you would need at the end of that day. I keeped the filter running all night and everything was great. Not hard at all! Some people have trouble doing that, for me it wasn’t any trouble. I love this pool, and so do my boys and most of the neighborhood kids. Unfortunately!!! I cant wait to get the next one.It will be bigger, Oh yeah i read that some people buy sand and all to try and level it. The instructions say that sand i not necessary. We didn’t see the instructions either until the pool was up. Just clear the area of rocks. Fill any holes that you have. Its okay if the water in the pool isn’t at a perfect level. Ours was a tad deeper on one side than the other. So what, the kids had lots of fun. All is good! Worth every penny!

I purchased this pool from Toys R Us last year on sale for $250.00. My friend and me put it up within 30 minutes tops on a slightly uneven ground. It may have been off by a couple of inches, but overall held up well! I did upgrade and buy a self-enclosed ladder since I did not have a fence and by ordinace I had to do this. Also, well worth it! NOW, its year two. I dragged this pool to my new house, left it outside. When it got a little warmer I just spread it out and me and my 7 year old had it up within an hour. I had no problems with the pump that came with it, but this year someone gave me a stronger one which I’m going to install along with a saltwater chlorinator. I’m tired of chemicals, so after a lot of research, I found the perfect saltwater chlorinator right here on Amazon for $169.99 + free shipping. I’m looking forward to this and am pretty sure my next review will be a positive one too. DEFINITELY A GOOD BUY ON THIS POOL!

I spent a long time researching an above ground pool. I finally decided on this one for the price and positive reviews. I have a large flat cement pad so I wasn’t worried about the leveling issue that others have mentioned. Even so, I’ve noticed that the water level does slightly favor one side of the pool.
When filling the pool, I suggest you take time to get inside and smooth out every wrinkle from the bottom. I made the mistake of just pulling the excess from outside. Now I have all kinds of creases under foot. Also, I very carefully cleaned off the cement pad before installation and still, there is a small rock under the pool that I’m afraid will puncture the bottom any day now. My advice is to check every square inch of the bottom when you start to fill the pool.
The accessories are a little cheap. The pump works well but the skimmer is flimsy and moves from it’s position too easily. The vacuum is also cheap and is too small for a pool this large. The ladder is definitely shaky. It will hold you but your wet hands can easily slip on the hand-rails; especially when you panic because the ladder is rocking from side to side. Lastly, it is impossible for one person to put the pool cover on. Once it’s on, the cover is also not secure enough. The slightest breeze will have you fishing for the it at the bottom.
Overall, the complaints are minor and if you take time in the set-up, you will love this pool.

Im 325lbs and the ladder holds me fine. The pump is a 1000 gallon a hour pump (pool is 4000+ gallons )which is plenty for this pool ,but one must remeber it goes 1000 gallons an hour when perfectly clean as the filter get dirty is pumps less and less.I stop and hose off the filter every 2hrs and it turns the water over in 4hrs.I use two floating chlorinators and ph + when needed about once a week,no problems at all.all in all this pool is hard to beat.

We just set this pool up for the third year. It has held up perfectly! Our 5 kids were from 5-17yrs when we first got it and it has withstood all sorts of rowdy play even though our ground is not perfectly even. The water is about a foot deeper on one side.
This year I bought a bigger pump, I wish I would have bought it when I bought the pool. Every year the pump would fail to keep up after a month or so and I would battle keeping the water clear.
I highly recommend this great family sized pool but do yourself a favor and buy a better pump so you can enjoy it all summer.

I have had this pool for 3 years and I love it. My only complaint is the crappy vacuum that comes with it. I spend so much time trying to get the floor of the pool clean. This year I bought the PoolBlaster Catfish vac. It runs on a battery charge and it works great. I highly recommend this to anyone who owns these smaller sized pools, it has made my life easier! With that said, the pool sets up easy and is a ton of fun and I highly, highly recommend it!

I love how this review is in toys and games
I found this pool to be durable, easy to set up and a lot of fun for my kids and I. However……Spend the extra and get the saltwater chlorine generator and a 1500 or 2500 GPH pump. The pump that comes with the pool is basically useless and does not even move enough water with the chlorine generator to keep the pool clean.
