Unlike many pools you see, this one is actually about the size as you’d expect from the box. It has several activities such as the ball ramps, the slide and the rings that seem like they might be fun for a younger child. It is rated 3 years+, but the activities seem like they’d be enjoyed best by someone between 1 and 3.

The little pillows on the larger ring make a squeaking noise when squeezed, which would no doubt bring squeals of giggles from the tots. The most fun part, however is the shower, which when the hose is turned up high whips around and showers everything! This has been found to be hysterical, if best done near a flower bed that needs the water anyway. At lower pressure it showers down one pool or the other, depending on which direction the rainbow arch is drooping.

Unfortunately our boys are a bit out of this age range (3 & 5 now) and while they enjoy it as a pool, its clear the activities are a bit beneath them. It is made of light weight PVC, such as you might expect from a drug store inflatable raft. The larger rings have both large holes for an air pump, as well as smaller ones to be inflated directly by a person. The ramps, rainbow and other accessories are all person inflatable only. The air-pump holes are also not valved, so be quick about getting the caps on! I suspect it will prove not be as durable and easy to use as our previous pool, which was better constructed, though also made by Intex.

In short, a toddler would love this pool, and if it didn’t survive more than one season it is probably still a value. For larger kids prone to running jumps onto the tubes, there may be a better choice. At this point I expect to be looking again next year.

We purchased this pool for my son’s 2nd birthday party. It was easy to set up (we used an electric air pump for the majority of it). I wish we could of gotten the rainbow to stand up more, it kept flopping over no matter how much or where we put additional air. That was really the only downside to the pool. My son loved the balls and being able to roll them into the water. The slide is perfect for the little ones (a little short for bigger kids). It was nice to put the littlest ones in one section of the pool while the bigger kids splashed in the other section. The durability of the pool was good. We’ll see how many more uses we get out of it. Draining it was okay – fairly quick. I would recommend this pool to someone with small children.

This is a great pool! It has so many activites, my two-year-old would play in it for hours all by herself, and really had a great time when a couple of friends joined her. They loved climbing from the shallow end to the deep end, going down the slide and tossing the balls around. The rainbow always leaned one way or another, which is annoying, and the slide did not line up quite right with the deeper end. But that didn’t slow the kids down one bit. It is well worth the money.

This is a very cute, large kiddie pool that we enjoyed all summer long. The age on the box states 3 and up, but we purchased it for our 1 year old and it worked well for her and her friends that were up to about 4 or so. Older kids would probably rather have something else, though, as the slide and activities on this one were almost too “babyish” for my 4 year old nephew. It is lareg enough to accomodate several kids (and adults! I got in myself on some of those 90 degree + days!) I only gave this 4 stars because the rainbow sprinkler never stood up like it should and by the end of the summer the one ball roller side panel had deflated to the point that it wouldn’t hold air. (to be fair my daughter had used that side to climb in and out, sitting on it as she went, and more than once I caught her bouncing on it like a rocking horse) Overall worth the price we paid (which was around 35, I believe)

This is a great pool for toddlers. The balls keep my 2 1/2 yr. old busy and the sprinkler is a nice option as well. Overall the pool is as durable as any other inflatable pool. I do highly recommend using an air pump to inflate it – there is a lot of blowing up required. As for the comments that other reviewers left regarding the rainbow standing up, if you fully inflate both the pool and the rainbow it will stand up pretty straight.

I loved this pool and would buy it over and over again!! I have three kids–ages 1, 2 and 5 years. They all loved playing in this pool. The rainbow sprinkler works very well with hose attached and sprays all over the place! The only downsides are: no plug in the bottom so it is a pain to empty and gets very heavy when full of water. You cannot really pick it up and dump it, so you have to bail out the water with a bucket. They should put a plug on both sides!! Also, the slide popped pretty early on, but it didn’t really work well anyway. It was kind of too short. But even with all of that, I would buy it again in a second. My kids played in that pool with water and also had lots of fun without water, just climbing in and jumping around. Actually, my 5 year old was kind of rough with it when there was no water in it–running and diving on the slide so that is probably why it popped. I will bring it into our playroom when the weather gets colder and maybe even buy some of the balls to make it a ball pit. So, some slight problems, but overall a great pool with lots of potential for fun for kids of many ages!!

i first had some problems filling it with air, many pieces and a lot of blowing noting that i only had this foot pump, i liked the work out I’ve done though, can’t imagine the calories i burned ;) i started with the slide since my 1 1/2 years old girl wasn’t able to wait until i finish, she was sliding weeee weeeeee from the first moment, great fun, we got it for indoor activity and don’t dare to do it if you don’t have an entire empty room just for it because it’s really huge… my little baby start playing everyday the moment she woke up, she really does like it… me too, and don’t forget to order an electric pump and hundreds of balls for the maximum fun

i bought this pool for my very active 3 1/2 yr old son & my 1 1/2 yr old daugter. they LOVE it!!! my son thought it was way better than the plain rectangular pool we’ve used the past two summers. it is much larger than i expected and it will definitely occupy them for a while. not only do my kids love it, but so do all the kids in our playgroup. i had 6 kids all playing together and no problems at all. i was even thinking of bringing it inside in the winter and using it as a ball pit. this was well worth the money and i am very pleased with this purchase. i would recommend it many times!

We had this pool set up for the little kids over the holiday weekend and it was a complete hit! They played in it all day long and loved every minute of it.

This item is used as our summer backyard playpen. My 2 grand girls (1 & 2 yrs) get hours of fun in this pool play center. It keeps them busy while grandpa works in his garden. There is no taking them out with out a scream fest happening. I highly recommend it.
