Bottom of the pool is too thin and can hurt your feet if you set it up on concrete floor. Otherwise, very good and excellent value!!!

My family and I really enjoy the shaloownish of the pool. We swim with our grandchildren and they can all touch. Plenty of roon for three floats. The only drawback is after one season we stored the first pool in the original box for the next summer. When we aired it up their was to many holes in the air ring. Plastic was brittle. For the price you cannot beat it for the summer season, and then throw it away and buy another one next summer.

Wow Easy to fill although might look hard, the kids couldn’t have enough of the pool. we haven’t used the pump yet we just didn’t need to since it’s easy to empty and clean aswell – i feel extreamly happy for buying this item for my back yard.

Great Pool the only thing it is lacking is a better filter system, next year we will by a better filter system to attach to this pool. Dont miss out on this purchase.

The Intex pool wasn’t used for kids, but for flying underwater robots and toys. The pool was setup on a nice, flat area with a tarp underneath. It took a few hours to fill it up. Note: you will need to get a pump to fill up the ring located at the top of the pool. Luckily, I had an inexpensive plastic “camp” pump which fit the filling orifice. Blowing it up with your lungs would be a tedious and frustrating activity.
The package arrives with everything you would need. Including a filter and pump. A nice surprise. The DVD is for folks who cannot intuit how a tub works.
In all, a remarkable value and a tool for flying underwater robots, toys and kids would probably have a gas using this thing. BTW – Amazon delivered this product straight to my door in blazing speed. Right on, Amazon!

This pool is a great buy for the price, but you should understand what you are getting.
1) The sides of the pool rise up as you fill the pool, therefore if you start the pool on an area with a slant you will have problems when the pool fills to the top–one side will have extra material because of the water level. The flatter the surface the better. You can make this work on ground that is somewhat uneven, but it take a lot of work.
2) You MUST make sure that bottom of the pool is pulled out to make a true circle. It is easy to be lazy with this because when there is no water in the pool it can look “good enough,” but if you have an oval there is a chance that the water will push out and start to flow out once it is filled.
3) If you plan to put this away year after year get a ground cloth. If the pool is on grass the bottom is IMPOSSIBLE to clean. At the price, I would recommend throwing it out at the end of the season.
4) The pump is very basic. You will need to add chemicals to keep it clean. Get a net to clean the big stuff out.
For the $60-100 price tag you can’t really go wrong if what you are looking for is some simple fun and a chance to cool off.

MAKE the ground flat…I dug out a space for it in my yard, built a little retaining wall around it with cheap paver bricks, filled the area with sand, leveled the sand, and voila. I leave the pool up in the winter with a cover over it, add the algae-cide and chlorine in the spring and its good as new. This is the best 60-70 dollars I’ve ever spent on my son. He, my nephews, and any other visitors play for hours and hours in the summer time…absolutely awesome for the money. I run the pump on a timer, 8 hours a day, add about 1 – 3 oz of chlorine granules a day in the hot summer, shock it after storms or heavy use, and it stays clear and clean. The directions clearly state that you must set up on level ground. It will collapse under the weight of the water as soon as a little one leans on an uneven side, so DO NOT USE IT ON UN-LEVEL SURFACES. We are off aprox 1″ from side to side and that is about the most you can go without probs. I even take dips after mowing the lawn or working in the yard, and my wife and I use it like a cool-tub for romantic eve’s. Nice to sit and sip on wine on a hot August night ; )

I have a love/hate relationship with this pool. For one thing, I despise the name “Easy Set” because this pool is no where near “easy” to set up. The fact that they really had the nerve to name it that feels like a slap in the face when you realize that it’s not easy at all. I suppose if you’ve had past experience with it then perhaps it’s easiER. I almost threw this out completely and lost hope. I will tell you it was very frustrating trying to get every single wrinkle out of this pool to make sure it was laying totally flat. My daughter and I ended up having to stand in the middle of the pool constantly flattening it out and kicking the inside of it out (as you see in the video) to make sure it was going to fill. Since we were pretty clueless, the fact that we actually managed to set it up means anyone can do it! The other thing that bothers me about this pool is that it is obvious the filter will not be enough to keep it clean. Everyone reviewing it says you need to use chemicals, and yet no where does it tell you how to do this or what to get. Since I am new to all this, I have absolutely no idea. I will have to go to a pool store I suppose and just ask. I actually spent another 200 dollars buying the krystal clear saltwater filter system but it looked 3 times more complicated to try and set up, than the pool so I returned it. I truly feel like this pool was a total frustration especially with the lack of info on cleaning it. However, once I got it up my kids LOVED it and I realized it was all worth it. I’ve always gotten the much smaller and cheaper inflatable pools. This was a big upgrade for us and honestly it was worth the pain and anguish. My children have been in heaven. I have 4 kids and this was the perfect size for them. My youngest are 4 and 5 and I have no worries about anyone drowning. They can stand up in it but they can also float and swim in it. Even my 13 year old daughter goes out there and floats on a raft in it (when the others aren’t in there). [...]

this is my 2nd one.. I love the size. my other one i had for 2 years but had to throw out due to construction, so this year we bought another one. I love Intex pools.. next year we hope to get an even bigger one when we have more space.
